Founded in 1928, Dunbar Cycles is Vancouver’s oldest bike shop. Originally located on Dunbar Street in the West end, the business changed hands in 2008, and has grown into one of Canada’s foremost mountain bike shops in addition to offering a full range of E Bikes, Hybrids and Road bikes. Big thanks to Dunbar cycles team. Specifically Stefan. The battery door on my Stages power meter broke off on a ride. Having signed up for the fondo, I urgently needed a replacement. I called all around Vancouver shops and no one carried spare door caps. No one offered solutions either. A week ago, I called Dunbar and Stefan picked up and without hesitation offered to call his dealer rep at Stages to have not 1, but 4 different Gen door caps rush-mailed. An excellent bike shop that I remember from many years ago on 10th Avenue. My most recent experience was great. Stephan has a wealth of knowledge that is expertly communicated. All purchases exceeded expectations, and the post-purchase follow-up was impressive. A great bike store with a great staff!
The customer service from Dunbar is next level! Friendly and very helpful. Product selection and pricing in on point too. Highly recommend.
