Dr. Brown and Jada were great. Caleb was also very pleasant. Everyone I encountered made me feel comfortable. I was worried about the reviews, but I definitely give them 5 stars.
I am 33 weeks pregnant and so far have had an incredible experience at Duke Women's Health Associates across all clinics. I honestly don't understand all the complaints about customer service because I have had nothing but quick responses and short wait times. All of the nurses and doctors have been so kind and informative. Everything has been great so far, and I definitely recommend Duke for your prenatal care!

I was a patient of Dr Howell, who prescribed me a contraceptive. I recently moved to a different state and have a hard time finding a new provider before I run out of the contraceptive in 8 weeks. I messaged her in the Duke chart and was told they cannot extend my prescription. What? This is the “pill” and not some highly regulated substance that I can abuse. Dr. Alfonso doesn't explain anything during appointments and afterwards, he visibly shows that you are bothering him rather than coming to solve your health problems. Instead of helping when I felt unwell due to the medication he prescribed, which also caused my periods to disappear, he refused to change my therapy and told me to wait for another doctor's appointment in 4 months with the same medication. My advice it's better to switch clinics.
