Drove 4 hours to go to the emergency room at Duke hospital to get help was told they are the best but I disagree the waiting period is ridiculous I have been in this waiting area for 6 hours now and still counting now sure how you come in hurting really bad and they stick an IV in which by the way was very uncomfortable and unprofessional blood got all over my clothing. It was turbo waiting 9 hr for a room, and no one said anything, playing around the deck, don't think I'll be back here, will go to UNC Rex hospital R Chapel Hill UNC hospital
absolutely the slowest hospital I've ever been to in my life (and I've been to a lot). don't go here if you are dying... you will most certainly die while waiting
We have been sitting in the waiting room ever since 3:40pm Thursday September 24, 2025 now it’s 12:54AM Friday September 25, 2025. What kind of Emergency Room is this. Duke Hospital in Durham NC is not what it used to be!!!!
