Review for Dr. Christopher P. Eckstein, MD – Duke Hospital I’m 21 years old and recently had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Eckstein. I was referred to him by my previous Duke neurologist, who treated me as a child for autoimmune encephalitis (AE). Since that doctor has since moved from NC, he recommended I see Dr. Eckstein because he is the head of neurology. This is just a review of the hospital, not the doctor we saw. The 2 ladies sitting at surgery check on the morning of 8/25 were very rude! I didn’t have a visitors tag and they openly started running their mouths about it to each other as I was walking away. Now it makes sense all the huge signs saying they will not tolerate hostile people. I’m sure there are a lot of people that don’t want to deal with staff’s attitude for no reason. My daughter was admitted because she had a virus and she was dehydrated. The pediatric cardiac nurses Rihannon and Maddy took such good care of us and all the doctors and nurses were amazing. I trust Duke so much!
