I was sent to Duke ER after being seen at Duke Urgent care in Knightdale. I was seen quickly (on a Friday afternoon) and put in a room. Dr. Jean Megan Rivera and PA Thu Anh Le were excellent. They made sure I received great care and solved my problem with professionalism and care. RN Matias Nep and Ed Tech Kevin Edmunds were also outstanding. They were caring and made sure I got home safely by giving me a voucher for care service. I have no complaints with my visit that day
If I could a hospital NO STARS I WOULD THIS IS THE WORST UNPROFESSIONAL hospital in NC !!! The staff are majority YOUNG and RUDE and don’t care how they handle each patient it’s sad this company just hire ANYBODY when this a job to save lives it’s sad what the future holds with this hospital but I will never come back I don’t recommend you will be waiting for over. 4 hours to be seen I’ve witnessed doctors and nursing DOING NOTHING while it’s people still in the waiting room hurting and waiting for help it’s ridiculous how a... read more
Mom fell at her memory care facility, and was sent here with an elbow the size of a baked potato. Dr came in, ordered xray and CT, and left. Did not give any Tylenol or any other meds for pain for 5.5 hours, when I had to ask for it. As the pain exacerbated her dementia behaviors, I asked the nurse to get the Dr. When the Dr came in, he stated my mom did not say she was in pain, when he first examined her. Hello, she is not capable of verbalizing that, based on her dementia...and her elbow is the size of a potato, with 5.5 h... read more
If I could leave half a star or no stars I would. Spent almost 8 hours yesterday for abdominal pain and had to have imaging done. It took 2 hours for the doctor to appear and another 2 hours for me to get the imaging done. I had to ask to be discharged because I was tired of waiting around and had been told what my diagnosis was but told I had to get more imaging done for something else but not informed what that was. Nurse Jessica was rude and disrespectful when I was signing the discharge forms. I should have gone to Wake ... read more
Came in for incredibly scary issues that made it impossible to speak-staff, nurses, and the doctor (Dr. Webster I think) we're kind and understanding, we got back incredibly quick and they navigated a communication barrier in an infinitely less stressful way than I would have predicted. Even security was understanding and calming. Cannot stress enough that Dr. Webster made an incredibly stressful experience as unstressful as staff possibly could have, and the nurses (had a bunch but specifically remember ken and Malcolm) all... read more
