Absolutely terrible experience. I came to the emergency room because I needed medical attention, and I ended up waiting 7 HOURS. Seven hours in an emergency room is completely unacceptable. What made it worse was the lack of communication. Nobody seemed to care enough to explain what was going on or when I would actually be seen. If you are going to make sick people wait for hours, at least have the decency to keep them informed. I have never had such a frustrating experience at an emergency room. Dirtiness waiting room and bathrooms we have ever seen. Toilet paper everywhere, trash bins overflowing. Wait is terrible. Also, saw known patient get expedited service because they knew someone. Avoid this ER if you can.
My daughter was went to Duke Raleigh ER from Urgent Care (Duke) due to a stomach bug. When we arrived at ER, the staff was warm and cordial and check-in was quick. We were seen within a couple hours and her care team was amazing. The PA (Marie), attending physician (Dr. Summer), Nurse Heak, and Malachi were attentive to my daughter’s needs and care throughout our time there.
I went in with a bp of 245 DESPERATELY trying to get help as a HALF CENTRURY SURVIVOR of COERCIVE CONTROL and ABUSE with CPTSD and was BULLIED AND SHOUTED AT INSTEAD by a Nurse Ratchet BULLY B. Who Actualy shouted "BLOOD PRESSURE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ANXIETY ‼️‼️‼️" So INCOMPETENT ALSO So too SAVE MY LIFE from HER I ended up Taking my IV OUT OF MY ARM LEFT A PUDDLE OF BLOOD AND WENT HOME TO DIE ALONE GREAT "CARE" CREEPS THANKS
