My husband had surgery a week ago Saturday and my Granddaughter yesterday. We were so pleases with our treatment by the staff and doctors. The surgeries were right on time and we were kept informed throughout both. The nurses were wonderful and the doctors explained what to expect after surgery and the instructions for care at home were very clear. I highly recommend this hospital and doctors. Thank you for a good experience at a stressful time.

My 14 yr old son had back surgery for a L5 fracture. Dr. Reeg and his assisting Surgical staff did an amazing job. I would also like to share, the nursing staff was super amazing. We were here through several shifts and I’m not sure if I could chose one over the other. Not only did they take care of my son, they took care of my wife and I. Thank you so much!!!
My mother-in-law was seen in the ER yesterday when the ER was filled with smoke-like air. The air irritated my nostrils, eyes, throat, and lungs. My mother in law has COPD; we were exposed to the irritants for up to three hours. I asked for a transfer to Wake Med or to an area of the hospital that was not affected by the smoke; it fell on deaf ears.
