I don’t recommend working in the cafeteria. It’s ran by Neal Lisa and lavon. Lavon Is an evil bipolar person . Who don’t remember half the stuff she says. She needs serious help. And she wake up with different moods. She feel like she can talk to people any type away, and she’s very rude and disrespectful. I don’t understand how she’s able to have a job. I would never recommend ANYONE come to this ER if they have an option. They seem understaffed, rude and unprepared. If you want to feel invisible trying to flag anyone down and get information then this is your place

Better communication among staff so meds are not provided incorrectly. Have doctors and nurses spend more time with patients and less time having personal conversations at full volume at 4am. Provide test results without making patients wait on pins and needle for more than a dozen hours. There's more, but why bother.
My children have been going here for 12 years. Ever since they have become part of the Duke system, the care provided has been terrible. I no longer recommend Growing Child.
Horrible 1st time visit. I had an appointment today at 10am with Dr. Keeler set up by the VA Medical Ctr. This appointment was 2hrs and 45mins away from our home. At 9:26am I called the scheduler to let them know we came to a dead stop on 1-85 North due to an accident. Our arrival time was going to be 10:15am, and am I okay to still come to the appointment or do I need to reschedule? The employee stated that it is okay to go, and that we have a 20 minute window. RecommendedI have ALS a a difficult disease without a cure, Duke's Doctors, Physician Assistants, Nurses, Nursing Assistants, Respiratory Staff, Physical Therapist, Occupation Therapists, cleaning staff are super at giving professional and compassionate care. They put the lives at risk every day through the corona virus but they put patients needs first even though it is a scary time for the staff.. I was in the hospital for extended period and I was giving great care..
My mother keeps falling in the floor and she is a danger to herself and after EMS brought her in less than 2 hours later you send her home and tell her to see her Doctor in the morning. What part of she is a danger to herself didn't you understand. I feel like it was a waste of EMS and my time. I should have expected as much years ago you sent my grandma home with a broken neck. I will never go back to your facility. I understand this whole Corona virus thing is a priority but you people are supposed to help the sick.
Recommended5th floor has the best nurses ever, they where our family for three years.
