It was full of friendly, helpful professionals who took very good care of me from check in, to pre-op and post-op. Dr. Horne, my surgeon is excellent! My pain was gone! I stayed one night and was ready to go home the next day with thanks going to my occupational therapist and my physical therapist for their evaluation of my walking ability and their training, preparing me for my day to day activities. Husband was in for Cervical Spine Surgery and corrections.. have to say the Neuroscience Unit is top notch!!! He had the best care and were very hospitable to me.. we shared stories.. and just good quality time.. THANK YOU to everyone involved with my husband's care.. he had a compressed spine that was decompressed with C3, C4, C5, C6 and C7 fusion with 2 support cages. He was not able to walk unassisted without a walker for months and could not feel his legs or feet from the knees down.. he could NOT move or wiggle his toes... read more
