I have osteoarthritis in both knees most days struggle to walk with good stability due to serious pain a orthopedic doctor recommended walking with ski sticks or hiking sticks, I thought this was a strange recommendation, I asked about a cane for support as I generally have to hold onto walls or anything for support. The recommendation seemed off, she and her student laugh it of, I can’t see myself walking around with two sticks. I have not seem people in public walking with two sticks for support.
The doctor has very good communication with his patient.
