I’ve been a patient of Dr Lightner for years and have had melanoma twice. I called Jan 2023 to schedule an appt with her to look at some concerning lesions. Since a few years have passed since I’ve been in, I’m now considered a “new” patient. Frustrating yes, but what can I do? Front desk receptionist is very rude and not professional at all.
Front desk is unprofessional and obnoxious, making the patients the butt of their not-that-funny jokes. Probably not well trained on etiquette in a medical office and need some more excitement - I get it. Dr. Lightner is great, but there was a long delay. I came in for a 9am appointment, but waited until after 10am to see the doctor. There are definitely better places to go.
I have been under Dr. Lightner's care for my alopecia areata for over a couple of years, and I can confidently say that her expertise and compassion have made a significant impact on my journey.
