I cannot speak to the full medical care unfortunately. However, I can only assume its sub-par based on the lack of technology to handle basic appointments. Attempts to get past the phone lines are fairly worthless. Operators simply put you back into the system that cycles back to the same operators. There might be a good setup, but the online and phone operations just aren't capable of handling basic requests. Dr. McCallum was wonderful. But I got a $1000+ bill for what I thought was a normal specialist appointment (normally this would be $80 copay with the NC State Health Plan, plus maybe $150-$200 for lab). If I had known in advance that this consult was going to cost over $1000, I would not have gone! Instead, got a shocking bill a few weeks later- I thought they must have made a mistake! But after various calls, found out that apparently this location bills at a "hospital outpatient" rate...I did not know this.
