One of our absolute favorite local spots. When out of town friends and family come visit, a hike and lunch at Duke Farms is almost always on our list.
My daughter and I rode bikes using the bike share. We had a beautiful time exploring and talking. Property was serene and lovely and the staff was very helpful. We went on a Thursday so no crowd. Stopped at their wonderful cafe and had a very refreshing smoothie. I would highly recommend Duke Farms for a day or even a couple of hours.
I overall had a good experience. You can literally spend a whole day there because it's so big. Duke Farms is like a park and you get to enjoy the nature around it. There is no charge for going there (unless you want to rent a bike or have a lunch). There is plenty to see and explore. They have the farms there as well as some ponds, statues, wild flowers, butterflies, birds, creeks, and woods. The overall theme of Duke Farms is to preserve the environment.
