Yup don’t think of your energy provider until something goes wrong. We were moving out of our beach apartment and the new tenants were moving in same day. I called Duke to terminate service and asked them to do it after 3 pm to give us time to move out that morning. I was informed that they couldn’t arrange that. $230 a month for a 800 ft² apartment is absolutely ridiculous you need to review our rates because our usage has actually gone down and yet our payment is astronomically high. I also compared with other residents in the same at building as me and they are paying about $80 a month. This does not add up and is insane. I need a phone call by tomorrow to discuss this period I have also called 3 separate times and talked with your representatives and spent about an hour each time just for them to tell me that it will go down the ... read more
