Scam artist and all around horrible people. I was forced to close my business after hurricane Helene and they simply ignored my disconnection request and continued to send me bills for service 3 months after. They admitted a service request was put in but still charged me for the service after I closed down. As if losing everything during the hurricane wasn't enough, they had to rip me off for a few more dollars.

Why can't I put zero stars Duke energy are incompetent and are fleecing and destroying North Carolina with coal ash dumping and dam flooding killing and poisoning North Carolina while CEO Lynn Good makes over $2098189.00 dollars that's 20 million dollarsdumping coal ash 1 billion dollars worth of damage and the flooding of North Carolina is their fault
