I built a new home and needed to put the utilities in my name. The lady at Duke Energy was fine but after she was finished with me she said she needed to transfer me to a 3rd party to verify things. Well, this 3rd party is people trying to sell you services and other crap, etc because you are moving. I had to hang up on them to escape their sales tactics! Shame on Duke Energy!!!!!!!
Terrible
Customer service was awful. I got behind on a bill but they told me I had time. Then suddenly the bill went up about 400 dollars. I tried to talk to them, but nothing worked. They are not friendly on the phone.
