I have serious concerns about Duke Energy’s billing practices and the lack of transparency in how electric bills are calculated. From 2020 through 2025, my monthly utility costs have increased far beyond what would be expected under normal, gradual rate adjustments. In 2024–2025 alone, I paid over $2,000 in electricity costs. I don't know if it's because of rain/thunderstorms or they are just this slow unloading. I got here at 8am it was only one truck ahead of me. It wasn't even raining or thundering, but my guy just disappeared after unloading the truck that was ahead of me. Tired of shipper and receivers playing with our time and money. It might be the weather, but I don't know man. Take your chances. DUKE ENERGY..DO BETTER!!
