Horrible!! They do not provide information! Bills have been up in the $700 a MONTH!!
Everything about this company is either incompetence or evil. Power goes down at 8am on a Monday…and of course, Duke energy doesn’t know what’s going on, doesn’t know how long it will take to fix, isn’t willing to give credits for time down… And it’s nothing new…time and time again the service just drops, and we’re stuck having to throw money at a company that could not care less, and why would they? I have never had to deal with so many power outs until Duke Energy and the ones I’ve had to deal with before were predictable and understandable (storms and the like). Here, the power goes out frequently and randomly. It can be a beautiful, sunny day and the power will go out for seemingly no reason. Having lived in so many other states and dealt with other power companies in said states, Duke Energy has had the most outages by far and considering how long this has been going on, doesn’t seem to be doing anything about it.
If you are not in the US, the website won't let you access. So they mean you should always stay in America and pay your bills. It's unfortunate that a large energy company is unable to have proper cyber security.
