This company is straight trash. They try to add hidden fees and the customer service have no clue what they are doing. They don’t care about their customers at all. Go solar and stay away from them.
In a world where great customer service seems nearly seldom, or hard to come by, Duke Energy’s customer service is a breath of fresh air. Do better, Duke! Your pole line workers have been here the last couple days working and they’ve been throwing their drink trash all over our clean neighborhood across the street from my house. Some of which were thrown into the tree area, so it was deliberately done. I just collected a whole bag of water bottles and energy drink cans. Teach your workers not to litter our neighborhoods where they are working. Do it to their own houses, not ours!
Duke Energy is the worst electric company ever. It’s crazy that I’m forced to use them if I want electricity. Since I moved in, I have had about 4 power outtages a month. I have to go reset all the clocks, and the computer, and then all my Hue lights turn on (super annoying for when the outtage is in the middle of the night). They have done nothing to fix the problem.
