Never had duke energy but wants a 700 deposit because of past tenants didn't pay their bills 🤔. This company is horrible
These people are criminals!!! Charged me for the water heater and electrical insurance for a year after I cancelled it. I cancelled it because after 3 attempts over several months no one ever showed up. They refused to reimburse me for service failure and charged me a 225$ deposit after 2 yrs of service because my bill was paid late because I was expecting them to comp me at least a partial refund for the blatant fraud!!! No other electric provider in the area! This is absolutely illegal
Duke Energy - 1 Star Filed two claims (#1103776 & #1103820) after Duke’s power event damaged my dishwasher and refrigerator. Someone called 4 times in 5 minutes with no caller ID while I was on another line, left a voicemail with no callback number, then never called back. My 93-year-old father-in-law with dementia lives with us. The refrigerator failure is a health emergency requiring immediate replacement.
