I lose power alot in my area and its getting worse over time.
The computer at Duke energy lowered our monthly estimated usage for 2024. The computered then detected an increase in usage and sent us a "catch up" payment demand in December. The computer offered us a payment plan that did not fit our budget. We began sending an additional amount that was good for our budget. The computer detected that our bills were deliquent and and acknowleged we paid over $800.00 per month for the past 2 months. Not available on weekends
I have been a customer of Duke Energy for 5 years. For the last two years, they have been charging me as a Commercial Service on March 26th, 2022, instead of a residential customer. I have called them 3 times about their error, and they're telling me, its in progress, and we have to verify if, in fact, this is a residential address they will fix the problem. Well, go back and look at the past 5 years of my billing to verify. I have never seen such incompetent people in my life. Everyone passes the buck. Just sad
They lie.Right on the phone they do not care at all.
