Stop raising our rates! An 11% increase what the heck? I can barely pay expenses already and now you want me to pay more?
Utilities shouldn't be for shareholder profit nor should they pass expenses from corporations such as data centers on to the public.
I find it very interesting that the month after we got a letter from Duke advertising their locked in billing option for $270, our electric has doubled to $400 without a change in use. We are 2 adults living in a home with no children or other people. We both work 8+ hours every single day, no one is even there to use the electricity and yet year after year, our bill climbs.
