Melissa is over the top knowledgeable of how the body Is put together and how those parts work together. Or in my case when parts are not working together . She was able to get my back muscles relaxed such that they could communicate with my glute, hip flexors & Psoas muscles. No physical therapist or massage therapist has had her understanding of how all muscles work together. Through stretching and releasing my psoaz my other muscles released and starting working better. I've made more progress with my chronic pain in a few short months than the several years I spent before going from one practitioner to another feeling desperate. Since I have been going to Melissa I have not only been feeling better (I have a lower back issue) but I have learned a lot about my own body. She stretches me to relieve pain and explains what it is all about. Friendly, relaxed and professional, she is a pleasure to spend the hour with.
Such a thoughtful caring therapist who listens to you and your body. It is a refeshing holistic alternative to chiropractic treatments and massage.
