Not so great an experience first time here. Letter sent to us to arrive at 12:45pm, here at 12:30ish. Told we could not check in until 30 minutes prior to appointment. Appointment was scheduled at 1:00pm. Apparently the appointment was changed to 1:30pm and we were never notified that the appointment had changed.
We are very fortunate to have gone to Duke Tisch Tumor Center in Durham NC. Doctor Friedman and his staff successfully performed a difficult surgery to remove a tumor. Our local Orlando hospital could not perform the procedure. Dr. Shoaf and her staff are very caring and responsive (during the most difficult time in our life). Duke Health does a great job of coordinating follow up appointments and answering our questioncs. They are one of the top institutions for medical trials, which are important to know about.
