I've had a unfortunate experience with Dr. Brian Brigman and his team, especially RN Nurse Scott. I was definitely dismissed and was told I will get a follow up call for my results which I never received untill I had to file a complaint about it. Mind you it is about three weeks that I had been waiting for my results or to even hear back. I felt scared and it's worst being ignored by someone who is supposed to give me the care I need. My mother and I went to Duke yesterday 05/26/26 to get a second opinion on a health issue my mother is facing and we are from Wilmington NC. Our experience there was absolutely amazing! Every staff member we interacted with made myself and my mother feel like we had known them forever. I can't say nothing but good things about the Melanoma staff. Dr. Lee is amazing and he has the best bedside manner, he made sure I felt like he was going to do all he could to get all the cancer from me and he did. He truly cares and knows what he is doing I wouldn't want to go anywhere else
Other than the constant transferring I would still give this hospital a zero star if I could. My provider put in a referral for me to be seen there at Endo. Rather the provider's nurse there reach out to me. The doctor put a note in my file to see another office. The office he put in, I am an established patient here, and what he needs have been done. So, I could have done a release of records. Will follow up with patient care as they have prolonged my care.
