Dr Dufour is a great Dr! Seen her for my physical today and she was fabulous. Yes I had to wait 6 months for an appointment as I was a new patient but Dr Dufour was a pleasure to deal with and very tbourough!
They need to do their research on the insurance companies they work with. I was told I needed a referral before even disclosing what insurance I have. My policy doesn’t require referrals for specialists. The nurse said my name wrong and half heartedly corrected herself. Dr. DuFour “doesn’t like a second person in the room with the patient”. This is not considerate of younger or older patients, or those with mental health challenges who want or need a second person in the room. Dr Dufour has been my elderly parents' doctor for many years. She is knowledgeable and provides excellent care. Whenever I call the office, she gets back to me in a timely manner. My mother also loves the other medical professionals in the office, particularly Natalie. They are organized and a well run office.
I’m reading these reviews and I am convinced Dr. Dufour picks and chooses who she likes. I was treated so rudely when I went in for a pre-op for a knee replacement. I told her I just retired from teaching and there were crickets. She got upset with me because I wanted to know who ordered a blood infusion on my chart. She gets upset if you ask questions period. She got upset with me over putting on my shirt before a flu shot which could be easily rolled up. I asked an assistant to print out my patient review when handed to me... read more
Dr. Dufour was beyond nice and very thorough. Could not have been any happier with her and her treatment program.
