I highly recommend Duffy Motors. They did my MOT recently, and they were fantastic to work with. My MOT initially failed because of an incident earlier in the year that's taking a long time for the insurance company to sort out. They managed to do a temporary fix in order to pass the MOT and keep me on the road, which is really important as I rely on my vehicle as a wheelchair user. Women be warned! Dropped my car off, a 09 Suzuki Alto having no power. I was told the clutch had gone and needed replacing quoted £1200 plus VAT. By any standards that is a ridiculous quote for a replacement clutch. When I went to pay for the diagnostic check I was told ' the car had 'had it' anyway. But they were willing to do work on a car that they believed wasn't worth it? That's not what he told me over the phone.
