Came here for lunch and got their lunch special cold udon + mini (beef) curry rice set. Starting off with the curry. It was very tasty and flavorful, rice was cooked well. The beef was also very tender and juicy. However, I wish the flavor of the curry permeated more into the beef as the beef tasted a little underseasoned. While the ramen and set meals might not be high-end gourmet dining, it is the ultimate comfort food—down-to-earth, deeply reassuring, and filled with memories.
Adorable environment, great sauces, good service, super crispy tempura, the only thing that doesn’t match my taste is the katsudon, the katsu isn’t crispy, the breading is quite thick, and the meat isn’t juicy
We got karaage, curry katsu, ramen and another tonkatsu dish. Overall solid! Very crispy with good texture and seasoning. I liked my curry.
Been coming here for over 30yrs, glad to see a busy dinning room on a Friday night. Food is always delicious with some new added items. Very friendly and attentive service. Still has the same old school ambience like it was 30yrs ago. My favorite is any of the curry options.
