Gone there many times. Too many times to count, actually. Love the relaxed atmosphere it provides, the local eats, beaches, and other outdoor activities in the area. The north side of lake is all state park for you to wander. If you're vacationing, why look out to homes on the opposite side of the lake when you can have this. The lake doesn't get very much boat traffic either and fishing is great. Vacations are supposed to provide an escape and this checks all the boxes.
