A hidden gem in Valley Park. Friendly service and delicious eats including burgers, authentic po boys and more - the fried bologna po boy is a MUST try! Don't miss out on the chicken leg lollipops or the premade meals to take home and keep an eye out for specials! This is one of those places where everything is good. But shhhh, it's a secret! 😉
Went in this afternoon with my three kids. Note- they only serve lunch. The fried bologna po boy was amazing. Highly recommend this. The red beans and rice were excellent with andouille and just the right amount of heat. My wife's pork belly po boy was equally good. My son liked his burger, as well. Cool atmosphere. Old fishing vibes with some antiques and old artwork. I threw away the meatloaf nobody, boudain balls and the mac & cheese was mmm, okay. Nice looking store, so I guess I should expect store food. Nice people, but a different palette. Definitely never tasted NO staples, poor, Boudain texture, taste, ingredients. Visit Louisiana sometime to understand flavors, textures with real ingredients
