Walked in and the other customers instantly told us "good luck", not a good start. The guy working seemed so annoyed and couldn't figure out how to put our order in the register. One couple said they'd been waiting for 45 minutes and finally asked for a refund and left, ten minutes later another customer gave up and asked for a refund. Best donut I ever had. My wife agreed too and she doesn’t like donuts very much.
The person at the counter was absolutely delightful, which matches the sign displayed when you walk in. The problem is the wait. Our family arrived with two people ahead of us and it took well over 45 minutes to get our donuts. How is that possible? It is obvious they have a process problem. Mostly, it seems they prioritize online orders. While waiting, we watched several dozen boxes get made for DoorDash and the sort. The employee who assisted us appeared visibly annoyed when coming out from the back, which made the interaction uncomfortable. The prep area was noticeably unclean, and the shop was completely empty. With no customers around, it would’ve been a good time for the staff to tidy up rather than sit in the back. The doughnuts were decent, but the overall service left much to be desired.
