Wonderful customizable donuts on Memorial day! I tried a half dozen variety and every selection was bursting with flavor. The donuts are smaller in diameter than chain stores, but very dense and filling. They are very liberal with the toppings as well. The service was quick for the 3-4 people I had in front of me. We stopped at another Duck Donuts location while visiting the Outer Banks and once again it absolutely lived up to the hype. Watching the donuts being made fresh right in front of you is half the fun, and the smell alone is enough to pull you through the door. Every donut came out warm, soft, and perfectly coated with toppings. The maple bacon and chocolate icing combinations were especially incredible.
