I feel the same as the other reviews. My insurance company sent check to the hospital instead of Dubuque Emergency Physicians. Did not know this and, instead of calling me, Dubuque Emergency Physicians sent me to a collections agency! Plus, I can't even contact anyone in my city to discuss this as everything is farmed out elsewhere. HORRIBLE!!!

The care was good but the billing was terrible. Three separate bills due to a previous car accident.
My wife needed emergency care in November of 2012. After everything was said and done we started receiving the bills from the hospitalization, We got three separate bills for different services. Two of the three went through my insurance without a problem. The third, from Dubuque Emergency Physicians, said she was turned down because, as the statement said, she didn't have insurance.
