I was referred by a friend he lied oxtails was rough as hell chewy ain’t the word them bad boys was like chewing a old tire dipped in oil the restaurant itself was hot and musty the customer service was horrible they made up different prices on the spot I’m black and support black but ain’t no way I paid $30 for 3 oxtails and some rise soaked in vegetable oil I wanted my money back for that bs no one I mean no one should go there period
Ordered on my lunch break because I’ve heard good things to open my plate with these little pieces of oxtails, can’t even say they good because there’s barely meat on them! I would have preferred 2 oxtails that was decent size over this!
I’ve ordered from Dubplate on DoorDash before but just recently went in to order for to-go. The food is really great. Workers are friendly, but not overly, which I prefer. Gave a lower score for atmosphere because I feel like it’s more a to-go place and isn’t all that inviting to stay and eat, but not really an issue at all!
