Had to write a review. Been looking to get some oxtail and I'm glad I came here. Ended up getting the oxtail and jerk chicken plate, beef patties and some festivals, and I ate the entire order myself. The oxtail was super tender and whatever the sauce is needs to be bottled and sold it is so flavorful. The jerk chicken was also tender and flavorful, had a little bit of spice although I wouldn't have minded more, very delicious. Best Jamaican food in Sacramento area
As a Guatemalan, I’m always craving food that gives me that comforting feeling of home, and Dubplate definitely did that! We’ve been wanting to try this place for a good minute, and I’m so glad we finally did. We ordered the jerk chicken, oxtails, plantains, and yucca fries—and everything was SO good. Jamaican food has its own unique spices, but there’s something about those rich, bold flavors, along with the plantains and yucca, that reminded me so much of home.
