The contractor that is trimming trees on State Road 66 in Crawford and Perry County is in violation of state statutes that require that the property owner be contacted before trees outside the legally established easement can be trimmed. When contacted, the company refused to acknowledge that there are any restrictions on their activities and they will continue with cutting whatever they deem to be in their way.
