Had heart attack. Ambulance to me to mount Nittany medical center where stent was placed and new meds given. 3 more ER trips and 2 more visited with Nittany docs. Switched to DuBois cardiology due to insurance issues. As soon as I explained what was going on Dr Ambrose switched my meds. One that I had been on was not right for the part of my heart affected. It helped.
Dr. Gupta was absolutely amazing.
Literal Life Savers! I had a heart attack a week ago, LAD (widow maker). When I arrived with unreal chest pains and both arms just burning, they wasted no time, had me hooked up, EKG confirmed and on my way to the Cardiac Catheterization lab before my fiance returned from parking the car! Everyone on staff was great, Dr. Ambrose kept me talking and explained the procedure he was about to do. Don't let negative reviews scare you from trusting this professional team. I lived, they get five stars from me.
These physicians are more interested in performing unnecessary procedures and charging fees than engaging patient care. They do not listen to the patient. I chose to seek care elsewhere and refuse to accept "the only game in town". I will not mention specific physicians' names (yes, plural) out of courtesy. I'd rather go elsewhere. And since I live in DuBois and might encounter this group again because they have run other options out of DuBois, I will fire them on the spot. No more. No way.
