We called Derek to help us with a severely neglected pool at a house we purchased for resale. He gave me a quote of $2500 & started work. He did install a new filter & pump asked for another $1000 then came back a couple of times, never finished the job - had to hire another pool contractor to finish the job. Litany of excuses & yes he did have a sick family member however he also never refunded any of the money I gave him.
