HEADS UP: The owner needs to update his contact info. I bought a new phone last July & inherited this number. I signed a contract 3 years ago for Dana to finish painting my house.He took a $625 deposit from me even tjhough I was supplying the paint. Long story short, he sent two men who worked one day. They didn't scrape,sand or use drop cloths. The job was never completed and I ended up with drops of paint all over my porch,I repeatedly asked for my deposit back,and Dana kept promising to return it,but I never did get my money. Dana Grimes is a thief. I hired him to paint the exterior of my house and touch up on the interior. I paid him 1/3 down. He wanted ½ down. He showed up for maybe a ½ day and then never came back. I called, texted, and emailed him but did not receive a reply back. I’m going to file a police report and let the Better Business Bureau know about the experience. Do not hire this individual. He talks a good game but will take your money and you’ll never see him again.
(Please see attached photos) Hired to paint 3 bedrooms and a hallway. Agreement was 1/2 up front, 1/2 on completion. NO tarps used. NO taping done. White dust EVERYWHERE and instead of bringing a shopvac - they used my small Dyson, and burnt out the motor (I loaned it for what I thought was a "spot" cleaning. Instead they used to to try and vacuum up plaster dust.) I have paint all over my floors. BLACK paint on NEW window frames.
