I had our MK6 golf GTI diagnosed and repaired by Allen after getting a 'P2711 - powertrain - unexpected mechanical gear disengagement' error code. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Allan and the team at DSG Performance did a fantastic job repairing our DSG transmission. Their pricing was fair, and their knowledge is the best I’ve come across. They really helped me out of a tough situation — super friendly, easy to talk to, and clearly know their stuff. My car has never driven this well before, and for the first time in a long time, I’m actually enjoying being behind the wheel. I can confidently recommend DSG Performance to anyone needing expert transmission work.
If you have DSG issues stop reading reviews and take your car to Allen and the team at DSG performance! We wasted 1700 servicing our Q5 transmission when really it needed a rebuild instead. Don’t try with any other shops or stealerships take it straight to DSG. Fantastic service, fair pricing, just great experience all round.
I should have left this review 9 months ago. I had a DSG fault diagnosed at another DSG specialist (hydraulic system issue) and was told that I would need to get a replacement Mechatronic unit. I contacted Alan and his estimate was over $1,000 lower than the two other companies I contacted as he would only replace the hydraulic portion and give a full warranty.
