Unbelievably unprofessional; made a disaster out of my Alaska Native made parka! I took the time to show her how the ruff attaches, and she said she understood; didnt pin it or anything, instead turning to talking about herself extensively. I should have taken my parka and ran! I needed the zipper replaced and the ruff sewn back on after dry cleaning; ruff optional if she wanted to do it, she said yes. Said she already had the zipper. Cried on my wedding day after picking my dress up from her for alterations. A handful of things had been done wrong or completely ignored on my dress. I asked for her to close the gap on the neckline of my wedding dress and pull up the straps to make the chest area fit better. She did neither of them, and left a very scraggly finish on the mesh. I asked her to place lace along the straps, and provided the lace, she did not put it on my dress AND I never got it back from her. There were many strings left unsnipped on my dress... read more
