Long story short, my hair turned out fine but I will never go back. Way back on April 16, I made an appointment for myself and my DIL to have blowouts for a wedding for my son’s best friend. I made the appointment for 1:30pm on July 26, a Sunday afternoon. A friend made a separate appointment for her and her daughter-in-law at the same appointment time. I’ve been a BarFly member at the Reston location since they opened and I don’t get my here enough! The stylists and front desk staff are all so kind and welcoming. I’ve never had a bad experience and always leave feeling better than when I walked in. If you need your hair styled for an event or just a boost, this is the place in Reston/Herndon/Great Falls area.
From out of town and Bella did my hair ! It is phenomenal she literally nailed it exactly how I told her I wanted it! She absolutely exceeded my expectations and was very kind as the rest of the staff were as well ! If I’m ever back in the area, I will return!
So sad about my blowout. I was so excited to get my hair done and blown out for a wedding. I asked for southern comfort with big volume and curls, but that’s far from what I received. After one and a half hours of sitting in the chair, I left with no volume and curls that came out as soon as I got to the car. Since the appointment took longer I really wasn’t able to say anything because I needed to leave. I probably will give DryBar another try with a different stylist.
