This was a while ago but I booked an appointment for a Saturday morning ahead of my afternoon graduation ceremony. I waited over an hour and then realized, if I waited any longer I would miss my ceremony. I asked the front desk how much longer it would be, and they said they didn’t know. I replied I needed to leave then and the receptionist asked if the credit card on file was okay for the cancellation cost! I immediately said absolutely not. I don’t respect businesses that think they’re too cute to answer the phone and ignore clients. Nobody wants to answer 3 million stupid questions and prompts to get their hair blow dried for an upcoming appointment in less than two hours. I was trying to simply book and leave a card and these people sat there and didn’t answer the phone for five calls in a row! I work in the most expensive city in Boston and this never happens at dry bar or anywhere else even on a busy Saturday afternoon. Do better Providence!
