We visited Dry Creek Beekeeping while visiting Galena with our book club. B’Ann was so sweet, and everyone loved the honey tasting and presentation. It was such a fun experience! You should definitely stop in and visit while in the area!
100/10 LOVE! This experience was so fun, educational and interesting. I learned so much about bee’s and found it all super interesting. The experience began with a basic overview of bee’s and how they live. From there we’d got to try three different types of honey. After that we gut suited up in the bee suited and went to discover the hives. Our guide showed us all different aspects of the hive and even let us hold a part of it. A very neat experience and highly enjoyed myself. Do this for a fun and unique adventure while in... read more
Visiting Dry Creek Beekeeping was fun and educational from start to finish! Tasting the different types of honey showed the diverse types. Learning about the bees’ lifecycle was super interesting, and it gave me a whole new respect for these hardworking little creatures. The best part? Getting up close and personal with the hives and seeing the bees in action—it was both exciting and eye-opening! The team at Dry Creek Beekeeping was not only knowledgeable but also really passionate, making the whole experience a fun and info... read more
Such a fun experience!!! We did the beekeeping tour. We started off learning all about bees and the beekeeping process, and got to try some different honey! Then we suited up and got to see the hives. Protected by the suits, we got to be up close with the bees, and see the hives in action, and even hold some comb and bees. Our guide was super knowledgeable, and did a great job answering questions and showing off the bees. Overall it was super fun and educational, and I will definitely come back if I’m ever in the area!
We spent 90 minutes learning about bees and how they make honey and all the different flavors of honey that exist! The most interesting event…and we got to sample 8 different types of honey and try to guess what type of pollen it was made from. B’Ann couldn’t have been kinder or more informative!! I would highly recommend this session! Great for all ages!
