I was really looking forward to attending a luau for our first trip to Hawaii. The location, atmosphere and show were great. The buffet itself was good, but not spectacular. Overall, I found it very expensive for what it actually delivered as an experience. I do not feel obliged to spend that kind of $ to attend a luau again, and if you are hesitating because of the price tag, the cost-value equation is unfavourable.

Love coming to Maui, have been for several years. No matter how many times we come, we attend a Luau. Attended Drums of the Pacific Luau with my son who turn 19. Atmosphere, food and entertainment were excellent. Unfortunately, our server wasn't the best. Absolutely no personality, would try to get her attention but that was difficult, forgetful as well. Other then the server, Drums of the Pacific Luau is worth going to.
