Bought 2 crash cymbals and a pair of hi-hats today. The guys in the shop are very helpful and they let me try them out on a drum kit for context! :)
They don’t let you play anything. Like how am I supposed to like an instrument if I’m not allowed to try it first?! Pats Music store is better.. they have a few kits out for you to play and get a feel off. Drummers paradise? More like drummers worst nightmare.
Quite corporate and unfriendly. I don’t recommend taking kids here as staff said they might “get fingerprints on the instruments”. Worst case scenario a kid breaks something, the parent pays for it. They make a sale. Best case scenario the kids fall in love with music and the store and become lifelong customers. Either way they make money. Strange policy in my opinion. Fantastic drum store. Purchased Meinl alloy custom crash and a full set of Remo ambassador heads top & bottom all were in stock so no waiting on back orders.Super fast postage. Mark the manager could not have been more helpful. Drummers Paradise run a tight ship 10/10 Perfect
