Nate, Mark, Axo & Dan, thanks to all of you for all your help in tbe past week. Three visits in five days yielded a 12 x 6 snare, matching bag, another bag for a 10 x 5 snare, and some right proper Pearl tension rods and rubber washers which replaced a missing original Ludwig Coliseum rod, and fit very snugly indeed. Bought 2 crash cymbals and a pair of hi-hats today. The guys in the shop are very helpful and they let me try them out on a drum kit for context! :)
They don’t let you play anything. Like how am I supposed to like an instrument if I’m not allowed to try it first?! Pats Music store is better.. they have a few kits out for you to play and get a feel off. Drummers paradise? More like drummers worst nightmare.
