Completed this program some years ago and was pleasantly surprised by the staff ( probation officers,counselors, social workers) not only are they all under one roof which is convenient and smart, they actually lift you up!! The staff looked for solutions for the issues i was dealing with as opposed to looking to trip you up! Very different from my past experience of "the system" As someone who spent years behind bars and had substance missuse issues since 13, this program helped! Not impressed at all with this program. My husband was in this program and its been a nightmare. He was very sick one day couldn't hardly even get out of bed but he made it to the doctor and got a note which I in turn took to the drug program. Walked in try to give it to the secretary she refused to take it or look at it. A couple days later police show up at the door arrest my husband on a warrant of a no show. He did 9 days in Fraser. When he faced the judge she said you should of got someone to inform of of your illness. ... read more
