Everybody at Clarkson, from reception to the doctor to the folks who ran the tests and went over my insurance coverage, was awesome. Friendly, helpful, and competent. I felt very well taken care of. Highly recommended!
I had a pretty bad experience here. I went in for a small scratch on my cornea and I ended up spending more than $1200 and left with the problem unresolved. The doctor was able to diagnose my problem, but the treatment was about 5X more than I was expecting. I was told to use a contact lens that would assist in healing my eye, but this contact lens needed to be replaced by the doctor daily for $200 each visit, and that was just way too much for me to spend on this. Excellent experience at Clarkson Eyecare in Sterling. Dr. Gee and Dr. Mazeas are outstanding—professional, thorough, and very good at making patients feel comfortable while clearly explaining options. The staff is efficient and kind, and the eyewear selection is one of the best I’ve found in Northern Virginia.
