She passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2021
She diagnosed me with ocd when i was in third grade and was my psychiatrist for years until she relocated. Unlike other psychiatrists, she actually listened and spent time with patients. My first visits were spent playing games so that we could create a bond. The psychiatrist i had after her was HORRIBLE. I had to wait over and hour to get called back only for him to spend two minutes talking to me just to tell me I would never get better. Anyways, Dr Canaley is absolutely amazing and I would recommend her to anybody.
Not sure if things have changed but based on the recent reviews I’d say they haven’t. While Dr. Canaley is of herself kind that’s as far as my memories of the good go. My refills were always late (which anyone worth their weight in salt knows is never a good things in any field of medicine) the office staff could care less if they were there. She took over my mother as a patient when her regular dr. retired but wanted her to wait 4 months before she would see her, knowing that she needed several very important medications refilled and would not refill them without being seen.
