My husband bought a car from drivetime in San Antonio Texas. He had the car for less than 30 days and the engine light came on. Took it to a mechanic of their choice. Well a week after it been fixed the same thing happened again.Now we're going on the third time the engine light is on. Now the mechanic shop said they can't fix it. So now we have to go back to customer relations to get it resolved. So we're paying for a vehicle that we're not able to drive.. so disappointed in Drivetime.
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at DriveTime. My car has been in the shop five times in the last month, and corporate has done absolutely nothing to help. I have called multiple times asking to speak with Dexter, but I never receive a call back—every time I’m told he’s “busy.” I’ve been calling for over a month, and still no follow-up, no solution, nothing. UPDATE** Why would I call customer relations when the last customer relations lady laughed at me. You guys are garbage. FB is my next stop.... I would advise anyone who needs a car to NOT go to Drive Time, they are scam artist. I went in with $500 to put down on a car. the dealership in Colorado Springs said they could get me into a car to get me and my son around and him to and from school. Do not buy a car from DriveTime..!!! Car was wrecked and they didnt say anything and had to buy a $315 battery and a $700 Alternator and two front tires..and has a slipping transmission that will need to be replaced and car only has 54.000 miles on it and if it wasn’t for all the repairs I could have paid my car note..I’ve battled stage 4 cancer and Pneumonia and SEPSIS .. And I got behind on car note because of medical reasons and they came and got my car while I was sleeping in it..and didn’t bother to help us keep the car... read more
