The owner then was Kingsley Moore, who had a passion for auto racing. He knew many of the drivers at the Bridgehampton Race Track, which was a major stop on the racing circuit back then. Kingsley Moore decided his pub would be called “The Driver's Seat” and it became a hangout for the local racing set when they were in town. Creme of le Crop in the Hamptons – Must try, never have I been disappointed here. The service is outstanding, and if you are not satisfied they will go out of their way to make sure you are. Once again, must try at least once in your life.
Mmmmm.... Went here to grab lunch and some drinks and was not disappointed. They have an area in the back of the restaurant where you can eat outside or sit at the outside bar. Our server was friendly and the food was great. The quesadillas were delicious and there was enough left over to take home.

GOOD FOOD, GOOD ATMOSPHERE, GREAT PLACE – Favorite spot in the Hamptons many great lunch and dinner choices. Love the Steak Sandwich. Great Place to bring the family or the girlfriend. The atmosphere allows for either a romantic setting or a great casual family dinner. At night be sure to check out the back bar as there are usually many people and always a great time. Also, they have a great Sunday brunch too. A must on your visit to the Hamptons!
