Great bar, great service - best of the best Drink just buzzes with energy - the bartenders are energetic, helpful and friendly, and the patrons are a great bunch. It's easy to come here for a drink and spend all evening! Drink is easy on the wallet (most wines are $20/bottle and cocktails start at $4) and they have a range of seasonal draft beers. I had my birthday here a week ago and they did a great job - the owner even brought a birthday cake which was a really awesome touch. PS - Check out the Happy Hour!
Great, relaxing wine and cocktail bar Very friendly service, inexpensive and always buzzing after 10pm (seems to be a big service-industry hangout, which I presume is a good sign). The food menu is small but tasty and the servers make their various cocktails with real enthusiasm. Zinc is around the corner (which can be either very good or very average) but this has become our choice place to go after work.
Steps away from the bustle of the Riverwalk, Drink is a cocktail oasis in the heart of downtown San Antonio. An impressive wine list is complimented by an extensive range of signature cocktails, enthusiastically mixed by friendly servers. Food is served until 2am daily (which means it's one of the few places that serve after midnight). At weekends, Drink has live music from 9pm - currently Mark Johnson of Howl at the Moon fame is playing, and his show is based upon audience requests. Absolutely my favorite in San Antonio I work downtown so Drink is my choice after-work bar. There's something like 150 wines on their list and most are $20-30 a bottle, so it's very inexpensive to share a bottle with a friend. The cocktail list is extensive too and the pours are very generous (originally, I thought $7 for a cocktail was a bit much, but it's twice the size of most places). What really sells this place is the ambiance - comfy sofas and subdued lighting make this a oasis in the city.
