This outfit is blasting at a quarry right next to my house in St. Albans (4/25/19). There has been active blasting going on for 3 years now, but this last one was the biggest yet. My neighbor ended up with a chunk of rock drove into his lawn after the blast, that easily would have killed someone. There were people that thought there was an earthquake 2 miles away from the blast, my house is 600-800 feet away, so that was great. This outfit is blasting adjacent to my residence. I happen to come home for lunch just seconds before they blast, and they asked me if I was all set, and that this was going to be a "big one". I asked them where the instrument was that is usually placed on my lawn during the blast, and they said they were just on their way to do that--(after the final horn blast prior to blast??)
