I had the absolute pleasure of taking part in Driftwood Paddles very first all women's canoe trip this fall. Guided by the wonderful Ella, we journeyed into the Algonquin Park and set up camp. On our four day trip we witnessed nature and wildlife, ate delicious food prepped over the fire, and shared countless moments of joy and peace. I am so grateful to the women I got to connect with. Honestly the best weekend of my summer. The weather was not ideal so I was hesitant at first but would not have missed this experience for the world. Our small group got to experience a perfect balance of adventure and peaceful reflection. I learned knew skills from our amazing guide Brett like basic camping skills and then also how to really connect with myself through nature. And the food was delicious!
