The first two of these stars belong solely to our server Dante, and the one star is for Salt Lick as you can’t leave a review without at least a star. I don’t get to the Austin often but when I have in the past Salt Lick has been a must visit. I respect the history of the place I’ve loved the open pit and the unique sauce. Beautiful hidden gem. Will not disappoint. This is our 3rd stay here when in town. Perfect for multiple family's. We had 4 couples comfortably with kids. 6 bedrooms and an office. Sleeps 26. Beautiful views looking over the pool. Across the street from driftwood ranch and county club and down the road from salt lick BBQ. Highly recommend.
